SME Business Networking is Key to Problem Solving

The EAFC group is meeting a number of Danish business owners and business managers based in Thailand. We explain that the EAFC group is using each others competences, experiences and individual network to boost business for each member. Everyone around the table agrees that we all share exactly the same challenges from company operation to authority handling. "We have a lot to talk about", explains Michael Cold, owner of Cold A/S and member of EAFC. “If we put us private sector people together and have a clear agenda, everyone will get real value from meeting", he continues. "Networking is not about just meeting, it is about problem solving in an environment of trust from a group where everyone is in the same boat", Michael concludes.

Asked about pros and cons, the Danes based in Thailand highlights two main factors.
Pro: The Thai economy is growing fast and things work in the country including infrastructure.

Con: “It has taken me 20 years to understand Thai culture and I still have a lot to learn, not least fully mastering the language”, says Finn Sørensen, MD Caretext Asia Ltd.
